David Hayter, a long-term supporter of Ryder-Cheshire, died unexpectedly at his home on 7 March 2022, aged 79 years. He is survived by his daughter Angelene.

David had been on the RCF Victoria Committee in its early years and was a regular attendee at the Biennial Conferences where he always made a positive contribution.

Angelene recalls going with David to the Ryder-Cheshire Op Shop in Riversdale Road when she was young. Angelene remembers when David was overseas and could not attend the shop, she met Sue Ryder with her mother when Sue visited the shop.

David will be remembered as a loyal member of Ryder-Cheshire.
