How fortunate we are to have received an extremely generous donation from Ballarat Grammar Junior School in support of a project of considerable significance at Klibur Domin!

On learning of the particular difficulties experienced by residents at the Uma Garton Cottage, we found it was not difficult to decide on the appropriate project to support.

To obtain filtered water for use in the Cottage, the students have regularly needed to fill containers from the nearby water source and carry them back to their home over rough ground, a distance of some 80 metres.  Given that water is particularly heavy, and that some of the residents are wheelchair-bound, this was a task that could not be shared amongst all the students.

The generous donation from Ballarat Grammar Junior School will enable fresh water to be connected directly to the Cottage.

There will be many smiles on the faces of residents, as the completion of this project will surely enhance the lives of all the residents and carers of Uma Garton.
