On 23 February the students of the Doon School invited our cricket team to a friendly cricket match. Our students surpassed all expectations. The teams consisted of students from both schools and it was a great experience for all.
Raphael students were then invited by Oasis school to play basketball with their students.
A two days’ Artificial Limb Camp was organised at Raphael in collaboration with Shree Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Sahayta Samiti from 16 -17 March. A total of 163 appliances were distributed to 94 beneficiaries of which 60 were children.
Raphael is the first and perhaps still the only school for children with intellectual disabilities enrolled with the International Award for Young People (IAYP). Twenty-three students completed the residential project and adventure journey on 27–29 March at Maldevta. They undertook activities such as the Burma Bridge river crossing. The students also helped with cooking. These students have achieved gold, silver and bronze medals. The medals were awarded to them on Raphael’s Founders’ Day.
