The two Ryder-Cheshire Homes, Ryder and Cheshire, in Mount Gambier, SA, have greatly benefited from work by the Tenison Woods College students. The students offered to help as part of their studies. The objective was to learn and also to give back to their community.

Andy and Zac are pictured busily assisting with the garden each week. They have hoed, weeded, and planted. Zac decided that he would like to learn how to prune the roses. He was very proud of his first attempt. Andy was willing try have a go at any garden task. Both students were engaged in digging deep holes to replant trees in front of the Cheshire Home.
