I made a visit to KD in January this year. I was warmly welcomed and was taken on a tour of the complex and was permitted to take photos.  I was amazed at the development that had taken place since my last visit in October 2022.

I delivered 50 packets of PANADOL and paracetamol donated by the members of the Ballarat Support Group and handed them over to Dr Juven and Nurse mana Fidelia Mendes. They were very gratefully received as there was a chronic shortage of medicines in Dili at that time. I handed to mana Carmelita a bundle of quality biros and material shoulder carry bags for distribution among the KD administrative staff. I also enjoyed a healthy and delicious lunch prepared for me by the kitchen staff.

I enjoyed the KD hospitality once again catching up with staff and spending time with the Director, maun Joaquim Soares.

I delivered my report to the Ballarat Support Group at their March 2024 Meeting and shared many photos and memories of the KD complex.
