I am letting you know that Ryder-Cheshire is at a point where we are looking at ways to ensure that we are able to continue our mission ‘for the relief of suffering’ at Raphael in India and Klibur Domin in Timor-Leste.
Both Homes have been hit hard by the pandemic, natural disasters, inflation and the down-turning economy.
One of the ways that provides continual, valued and highly relevant support is through sponsoring programs at the two Homes.
We have a number of loyal sponsors who have given this support of which we are so appreciative. We are now looking at increasing our band of sponsors.
At the Ryder-Cheshire Australia Biennial Conference, set for Saturday 6th May 2023, we will be launching our Sponsorship Drive and this will also be featured in The Red Feather May 2023.
I am taking this opportunity to let you know that we will be reaching out to you to take out a sponsorship for Raphael or Klibur Domin or both and if you already have a sponsorship, we are asking you to encourage people you know within your family, friendship groups and community networks both social and professional to take out sponsorships for the same.
On the back page of The Red Feather are details regarding the ways to assist through the sponsoring opportunities. Or you may like to look at our Sponsorships Page for more information:
We are proud to say that we are all volunteers, we have no paid employees and we are highly committed to our mission ‘for the relief of suffering’ which we know is highly relevant in today’s world.
Thank you in anticipation of your support.
Sincerely,
Rory McEwen
Ryder-Cheshire Australia President
