Anthea and Ian Swann

Anthea has been honoured for her service to community with a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the 2024 King’s Birthday Honours. She was one of the first volunteers to go to the newly formed Ryder-Cheshire Home, Klibur Domin in Timor-Leste. She has held many positions in Ryder-Cheshire both at state and national level and her work on these committees was exceptional. She is currently the Vice President of the Ryder-Cheshire Foundation Victoria. Such a well-deserved honour. Our heartiest congratulations.

 

Don Hamilton OAM

Past President, Don Hamilton of the Ryder-Cheshire Victorian Homes and past Director of the Ryder-Cheshire Australia Board was presented with the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) by Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Garden AC, Governor of Victoria at Government House in Melbourne on Sunday 28 October 2024. Congratulations Don, a well-deserved recognition of all your wonderful community service

 

Barrie Williams OAM

Barrie was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia recognising his community service in the 2024 King’s Birthday Honours. He is the Secretary of the Ryder-Cheshire Victorian Homes and also holds membership on a number of their Committees. He is a member the Rosanna Rotary Club. Congratulations Barrie.
