CONGRATULATIONS Neville

In the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in June this year Neville Gilbertson was awarded an OAM.
He was awarded for his community service in Mount Gambier particularly for his work in Ryder-Cheshire and Rotary.
Neville, ably assisted by his wife, Kaye, has been actively involved with the Mount Gambier Ryder-Cheshire Homes since their beginnings.

He was inaugural President of the Mount Gambier Homes, Ryder and Cheshire, from 2004 until 2018, and also served as a Director on the Ryder-Cheshire Australia Board for 14 years.
In Neville’s words he says, ‘ It is hard to think of the OAM without reflecting on the support behind me. However, it has been an enjoyable journey, with a great team, and one which I would gladly repeat’.
This award was richly deserved.  Neville’s dedication, sense of purpose, compassion, foresight and drive to get the job done is a testament to the Ryder-Cheshire Mission, ’for the relief of suffering.’
